No matter what you do to prevent being stung it seems you can never be 100% sting free over a summer season. This remedy relieves symptoms of allergies, such as hay fever, hives or reactions to insect bites. It is the Homeopathic antihistamine.
Staphysagria – Delphinium
Staphysagria is indicated when the person is angry due to being stung. They become worse from the least touch on the affected parts and from loss of fluids so keep them drinking plenty and.
They feel better after breakfast, for warmth and rest at night.
You can use these homeopathic remedies for any stings as long as the symptoms fit. Sometimes treating a sting can become more complicated as insects also carry bacteria and can lead to a skin infection. In the case of very sensitive individuals a sting can cause a life threatening allergic reaction.
In the case of a complication always seek medical help immediately. Homeopathy is not a substitute for appropriate medical attention.
